Migraine Journal ("the App") is designed and operated by Mohamed Hosam ("I," "me," or "the developer"). This policy explains how the App handles your information.
The short version: your data stays on your device and in your private iCloud. I never see it. I don't run a server that stores it, I don't sell it, and I don't share it with anyone.
When you use Migraine Journal, the App stores the following information locally on your iPhone:
That's everything. The App does not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, browsing history, advertising identifier, or any other personal information beyond what you explicitly enter into the journal.
On your device. All entries are stored locally using Apple's SwiftData framework. The data file lives in the App's sandboxed storage on your iPhone.
In your private iCloud, if you're signed into iCloud. The App uses Apple CloudKit's private database to sync your entries across your own Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac) that are signed into the same Apple ID. CloudKit's private database is encrypted and accessible only to you. I do not have access to it. Apple's CloudKit infrastructure is the only third party that touches this data, and only as a sync mechanism, not as a recipient.
If you are not signed into iCloud, the App works entirely offline and stores everything only on the device you're using.
