Picross: Nonogram, No Ads ("Picross", "the app") is made by Mohamed Hosam. It is built privacy-first: your data stays on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Picross does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. The app contains no analytics, crash reporting, advertising, or tracking code, and it does not connect to any server run by us or by third parties.

Data stored on your device

To keep your game going, Picross saves the following only on your device:

• Puzzle progress, including boards you're partway through
• Solved puzzles, stars, and your daily streak
• Settings, such as your default play mode and theme

This data is part of your normal iCloud or computer backup, like any other app data. We can't see it or get to it.

Purchases

The one-time "Full Game" unlock is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, email address, or payment details. The app only asks the App Store whether the unlock has been bought on your Apple ID, so it can open the packs and restore your purchase. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
