Mawareth is built privacy-first. Your family's details never leave your device.

What we collect

Nothing about your case. The heirs you enter, the estate value, the deductions, the assets and any names you type are never transmitted anywhere. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no advertising SDKs.

Anonymous usage signals. Mawareth sends a small number of anonymous events to TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service, so we can see which languages and regions actually use the app. These events are:

Event What it carries
Onboarding completed nothing else
A result was viewed whether the case was an estate or a plan
A result was shared whether the case was an estate or a plan
Language changed which of the two app languages was chosen

TelemetryDeck also attaches your device's locale, region, OS version and app version, and identifies devices by a one-way salted hash that is never resolved back to a device, a person or an advertising identifier.

These signals never include the estate value, who the heirs are, how many there are, any name you type, or anything derived from them. We deliberately exclude the composition of heirs even though it would be the most useful thing to know, because in a small community it could identify a bereavement.

What is stored on your device

Your recent calculations are saved on your device only, in the app's own storage, so you can reopen them. That record includes the heirs, estate value, deductions, assets and any names you entered. It is never uploaded, backed up to us, or shared.

Your control

Delete any saved calculation from the History screen, or clear the whole history at once. Deleting the app removes everything it stored, immediately and permanently.

Children

Mawareth is rated 4+. The anonymous usage signals above are the only data collected from anyone, including children; they contain no personal information.
