Welcome. If you're using Iqra to memorize the Quran and have a
question, found a bug, or have a feature request — this page has
answers and how to reach me.
Quick start
- Open the App. On first launch you'll see a welcome screen —
pick a default reciter.
- Tap "اختر تلاوة · New Selection" to pick a surah, juz,
or page.
- Tap any surah row to expand it. Set the From/To ayah range
and how many times you want each ayah repeated.
- Tap "ابدأ · Start". The audio loops continuously until
you tap "تَمّ · Done".
Frequently asked questions
How do I memorize a specific portion?
Tap New Selection → pick a Surah → tap the row to expand →
set your From and To ayah → choose a repeat count (×3, ×5, ×7,
or any custom number) → tap Start. The audio loops until
you stop it.
Why can't I hear anything?
- Check your phone isn't on silent mode.
- The App needs an internet connection the first time you play
a new range — audio downloads from everyayah.com. Once cached,
it works offline.
- If you see a "Couldn't load audio" message, tap Retry.
How do I change the reciter?
- From the player: tap the reciter chip at the bottom.
- From Settings: tap the gear icon on the home screen →
Reciter section.
How do I save a portion to come back to?
While the player is open, tap the bookmark icon next to Done.
Give it a name (e.g. "Morning portion"). It will appear on the
Home screen as a tile you can tap to play directly.
