Iqra is built to respect your privacy. There are no accounts, no ads, and we never collect personal information. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do with data.

The short version

• No account, no sign-in, no personal data.
• We collect only anonymous, privacy-first usage analytics — to learn whether the app helps people return and keep memorizing.
• We never record which surahs, ayahs, or ranges you read, listen to, or memorize.
• No advertising, no advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking.
• Your bookmarks, last session, streak, and hasanat stay on your device.

What we collect

Iqra uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service, to gather anonymous, aggregated usage signals. These are limited to coarse, non-identifying events such as:

• App launches and onboarding completion
• Which mode is started (memorize, listen, or read)
• Reciter changes and screen views
• Audio-loading failures (to help us fix playback problems)

These signals are not linked to your identity and are not used to track you across other apps or websites. TelemetryDeck does not use the advertising identifier (IDFA) and does not build advertising profiles.

What we do NOT collect

• Your name, email, phone number, or any contact information
• Any account or login (there is none)
• The specific surahs, ayahs, ranges, bookmarks, or reciters you choose
• Your location
