Do my caravans earn while the app is closed? Yes, on routes that have a guide. Gold builds up for up to 8 hours, and you collect it on the "Welcome back" card when you return. Routes without a guide finish their current trip and then wait for you to tap Send.
Changing my phone's date didn't give me more gold. Time away is measured by your phone's own internal clock, not the date in Settings, so changing the date doesn't add gold.
I bought the Royal Charter (No Ads) but don't have it. Open Settings → Restore purchases while signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy it. The Royal Charter doubles your income for good and gives every ad reward without watching.
I want a refund. Purchases are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
An ad button says "Loading…". The ad isn't ready yet. This usually takes a few seconds, and longer on a slow connection. Ads are always optional. You never have to watch one to keep playing.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?Settings → Privacy choices (shown in regions where Google's consent form applies). To turn off ad tracking, go to iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Will I lose my progress if I change phones? Your game is saved on your device. Moving to a new iPhone with Quick Start or an iCloud device backup brings it along. Deleting the app deletes your progress, and there is no account or cloud save yet.
How do I turn off the music, sounds or reminders?Settings → Sound and feel. Music and sounds also follow your phone's silent switch, and the music stays quiet while another app is playing audio.
What is a "new trading house"? Once Samarkand is open, you can start over with a new trading house. You lose your gold, routes and guides but keep your reputation, which permanently raises your income.
