Desert Caravan: Idle Tycoon ("the game") is made by Mohamed Hosam. This policy explains what happens to your information when you play. In short: your game stays on your device, and the only data that leaves it is what Google's ad service collects when ads are enabled.

Your game data

Your caravans, gold, settings and progress are stored only on your device. There are no accounts and no sign-in. I never receive your game data. Deleting the app deletes it.

To work out how long you were away, the game reads your phone's internal clock. This reading stays on your device and is never sent anywhere.

Ads

The game shows optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob. An ad only plays when you tap an offer, and there are no banner or pop-up ads.

To show and measure ads, Google may collect:

• your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking when iOS asks),
• your approximate location, based on your IP address,
• how you interact with ads, and diagnostic information about how ads perform.

Google's use of this data is described at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and https://policies.google.com/privacy.

• Europe, the UK and Switzerland: you're asked for consent before any personalized ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy choices.
• Tracking: if iOS asks whether the game may track you, you can decline. Ads still work, but they're less personalized. You can change this later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
• Royal Charter: buying the Royal Charter (No Ads) removes all ad offers. After that, the game no longer requests ads.

Purchases

The Royal Charter is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment, and I never receive your payment details or Apple ID.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the game schedules reminders on your device (for example, "your caravans are full"). They're created on your phone, not sent from a server, and no information about you is used or shared to send them. You can turn them off in Settings → Reminders or in iOS Settings.
